Percy W. Muncy Antique Floral Still Life Oil Painting

FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL US! This is a GORGEOUS still life painting of lush and lovely flowers arranged in a green porcelain vase. Oil on canvas. As you can see, the bright colored flowers really pop against the deep chocolate brown background, which is what drew me to this painting as soon as I saw it. Signed by well listed artist P.W. Muncy (Percy W. Muncy, American, 1885-1964) and dated 1924 lower right. Sight measures 30″ x 25 1/4″. The painting is displayed in an older ebonized wood frame with gold liner measuring 33 1/2″ 29 1/4″ x 3″. The photos really don’t do this painting justice as I was not able to capture the crisp clarity of the flowers, but they truly are GORGEOUS.

Condition: The painting appears to be in good original condition. The frame, which is older than the painting, has numerous flakes and touch-ups to the paint. That said, I still think it’s the perfect frame for this stunning painting.
