Vintage Balouch Rug 3’5” x 6’3”

This well-woven Persian nomadic piece shows five gul and leaf elements floating on the abrashed dark blue/navy ground which is patterned with tiny crosses. Nested and stepped lateral triangle fillers are accented in ecru, yellow and red. Red main border with a barbed trapezoidal vine and trumpet flowers. Good quality tribal wool. Generally good condition. Ribbon scroll “S” minors. Brown spot corroded.
