Chest of drawers hand-made in Italy in the early 1800s using walnut. The dresser is beautifully made and ready to be used on a daily basis for many years to come. Its height and size make this perfect storage for clothing while also adding a splash of color to a room. The chest of drawers, in fact, has a beautiful light blue / denim patina, which combined with its straight lines make this a very contemporary piece of furniture, despite being a couple of centuries old. The dresser features four inset drawers of varying depths, and a two-boards top with straight edges. The dies are made of flat inset panels framed by flat molding, and the legs are tapered. The drawer sides do not show dovetail joints, but beautiful, large square nails.
This chest of drawers is most definitely one of a kind, the patina is absolutely gorgeous, and it is an antique that will fit perfectly well in a contemporary home.
