Vintage Design
The chair model No. BA 1171 was designed by Helmut Bätzner for Bofinger in Germany in the early 1960s. The stackable chair was launched at the 1966 Cologne Furniture Fair. The BA 1171 was the first single-piece plastic chair suitable for mass-production, made from compression-moulded fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This chair is in very good original condition.
