Vintage Design
Beautiful set of 5 dining chairs in new velvet upholstery and after a complete restoration. The chairs were designed by Oswald Haerdtl for TON (Thonet) in the 1950s, produced in Czechoslovakia.
Typical mid-century design. Backrest in bent plywood, lacquered legs in the dark stain of oak with mat finish. The backrest and seat were newly upholstered into a beautiful teal velvet (Magic velvet) which complements the dark wood perfectly. The combination looks strong and very elegant. Strong and stable chair with comfortable seating.
