Antique Honduras Hardwood Dressing Table

We are delighted to offer for sale this exquisite quality circa 1900 Honduras Mahogany dressing or vanity table with lion hairy paw feet This piece is part of a large suite, I have in total a pair of occasional chairs, a large triple bank wardrobe with campaign drawers inside, a dressing table, chest of drawers, bedside table and bedstead. This auction is for the piece detailed above only, all other pieces are listed under my other items This suite is all sublime quality, I mean honestly some of the best carving and proportions I have ever seen. This table has elegant cabriolet legs which are hand carved with Lions hairy paw feet to the front and back. The timber is Honduras Mahogany which you can’t buy any more, it has an amazing patina and can be found on some of the most expensive pianos in the world This piece is designed to be used with a mirror on the back so there fittings are in place should the new owner wish to install one Condition wise is perfect for the period, we have lightly cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it will have honest patination to the timber from genuine age Dimensions Height:- 68.5cm Width:- 123cm Depth:- 58cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition.
