Incredible Pair of George III Chinese Chippendale Carved Giltwood Mirrors, c. 1760, each finely carved with latticework and foliage over profound Rococo “C” scrolls. Each mirror features a Pagoda over gilt rock work and are “His and Hers” with a seated male figure in one and a seated female figure in the other.
These mirrors were sold by the legendary shop, Florian Papp, in 1995. Their shop was located on Madison Avenue in Manhattan and they were open for over 100 years.
