Vintage Design
The beautiful Swan armchair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the lobby and lounge area of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The design does not contain straight lines, so despite its simplicity and strong architectural look, it appears organic and soft. There is currently 1 purple armchair in our warehouse. The example with a modified base was bought from MODUS in Berlin in the 1980s.

One example with different foot is from 1983 , made by Fritz Hansen, see picture. In the 1980s they were reupholstered and upholstered with purple KVADRAT TONUS wool. The cover is freshly cleaned and in good condition. The armchairs are rotatable and wonderfully comfortable.
