A rare Ningxia saddle cover with pure natural colors, as well as with the original undyed beige yack wool. The two saddle holes still with the original red leather edging. Like all antique covers, made in two parts. Possibly an export product for Tibet. These covers were always used as a saddle pad to protect the horse. Very well preserved for its age, some small flat spots. Produced around 1850.
