This convenient Restoration made the transition from the First Empire style and romantic Louis Philippe style.
The change is in the structure with the appearance of discrete curves. The corners and edges of the plates are rounded.
The three wide drawers are framed by amounts molded rods and slightly carved with foliage and flowers underline the frame of the facade. Inputs locks carved in bronze. The wooden rectangular tray molded with the molding is painted black based on a belt projection concealing a fourth tray.
Base formed by a plinth joining of feet below.
By 1820, the mechanization of workshops allows production of cheaper furniture for small and medium bourgeoisie. Furniture manufacturers major cities produce large quantities convenient to the end of the nineteenth century. This production is facilitated by the simple structure of this furniture with smooth surfaces easy to press.
