This Chinese Qing Dynasty period large carved Cypress wood interior window panel from the late 19th century, with fretwork design and Chinese Opera figures at center, Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the later years of the 19th century, of this architectural interior window panel captures our attention with its carefully organized arrangement of fretwork motifs and detailed interlock tangle branches design. The panel is carved with finesse in order to create typical Chinese square and rhombic patterns that let the light pass through. it could be hang onto a wall as a decorative arts piece.
