This is a vintage French Kepi/Hat was acquired on a buying trip to France in 2019. In black felt with black plastic peak, gold braid. Made by Balsan Paris, as printed to the interior of the top. Gold braid runs around the top of the Hat with a gold braid cross. A gold braid runs around the top of the sides and across the peek with an attractive detailed button either side.

This rare Vintage French Military Academy Officers hat was acquired on a buying trip to France in 2019.

The French Army Saint Cyr Officer Kepi is an authentic component of the uniform worn by student officers at the Ecole Speciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr. This prestigious university counts the brightest and most recognized military figures from France and beyond, including Charles de Gaulle. Cadets at the ESM wear these Kepi caps as part of their official uniform and are immediately recognized as no other organization is authorized to issue or wear these Kepi caps.
