Vintage Design

A pair of sculptural Hunting chairs with ottoman in green original upholstery and stained oak, Germany, 1950s. These Hunting chairs show a very elegant and minimal design with great craftsmanship. An open character is created by the beautiful shapes and tapered lines of the chairs. Apart from the nicely made wood-joints, the cord weaving beneath the seat is beautifully exposed in the wooden frame and shows the stitches through the oak frame. In design and quality these chairs show great resemblance to the chairs of Uno & Osten Kristiansson. The chairs are in excellent condition. Manufactured by Veb Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau.
