Classic matching pair of Chesterfield cordovan executive office swivel tilt armchairs made in the English Georgian taste. The chairs feature a leather tufted seat with a regency style scrolled back and English rolled arms. The generous seat has a thick fitted loose seat cushion and the back and arms have patinated brass tack nail heads. Hand-crafted by Hancock & Moore Hickory, North Carolina. The seat is supported by a mahogany five leg base ending with casters. Strong and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The leather has a desirable aged patina with no rips or tears. From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA. Sold as a pair.

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely fully restored original oak framed vintage hand dyed Chesterfield cigar brown leather directors chair.

A very good looking well made and comfortable directors chair, I’ve not seen one with a solid oak frame like this before, the seat platform is a traditional sprung base so very comfortable

It has been fully restored as mentioned, the leather has been stripped back, hand dyed six times, antiqued and sealed, the finish is this lovely cigar brown colour. The timber has been cleaned waxed and polished, this is gallery ready.

It is massively height adjustable, I’m 6’4 tall and at the maximum height my legs don’t touch the ground, I think you would need an inside leg of 36 – 38 inches to touch the ground at the full height
