Vintage Design

This sprung, height-adjustable office chair was designed by Egon Eiermann and manufactured in the 1960s in Germany by Wild & Spieth. Made of original chromed metal and (restored) black painted wood.
The spring swivel chair offers extremely high seating comfort through the suspension.
The seat height adjustment is fully functional in the range of 44-60cm.
The backrest can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally.
Very good condition, elegant swing in the seat.

A very good looking and decorative piece, the upholstery is all thick cattle hide leather, the frame hand carved mahogany, these were made by Pegasus and sold through Harrods in the 1960’s to the 1980’s, they are amazingly comfortable and look sophisticated and elegant in any setting

This piece has been fully restored to include having the old colour stripped out, its then been hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed waxed down and polished, the end result is this wonderful cigar brown colour, the legs have been French polished
