Camel back sofa in the Chippendale style with Marlborough fluted front legs braced with the sabre rear legs through stretchers. The leather is red, supple and deeply buttoned, finished with closely nailed brass studs at the edges. The proportions of this sofa are perfect. The hump is of perfect size and curve and the rolled arms are inclined forward and in harmony with rest of the body of this high quality sofa in impeccable condition.

About this item Mid-century sofa with new ochre upholstery and filling. The seating can be pulled to the front to create a 1 person bed, the dimensions of the bed are: 185 x 70 cm Designed by Rob Parry for Gederland. The silver frame and arm rests have been refinished as well. Rob Parry With minimal use of materials, Parry managed to make an elegant and spacious design. The combination of these properties and the use of metal is a perfect example of Dutch Mid-Century Modern design. In his career he designed many items. Famous are for example his Lotus Lounge chair and sofa, F&T dining or side chair, coffee table and Parlez dining table. Together with Friso Kramer, Martin Visser, Cees Braakman and Wim Rietveld, Rob Parry is among the best and famous designers of the Dutch midcentury

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning fully restored whiskey brown leather contemporary designer sofa.

Where to begin! This sofa is absolute eye candy from every angle, it has the original leather hide, the leather is in fully restored condition throughout, the sofa was basically new when we got our hands on it but the leather was a plain tax, we have stripped it back, hand dyed it six times, antiqued it, then sealed and waxed it

It is a very good looking piece, a bit art modern, it has the look and feel of a Fritz Hansen egg chair
