Magnificent Louis XV period window in walnut with cut sides and double body.
It supports on its upper body a cornice with a pediment in the form of a hat, framing a cartouche of marquetry of cubes in perspective called the Oeben cubes.

The two asymmetrical leaves of the upper body, soberly molded, frame a glass panel of imposing dimensions for this period as well as an egg-shaped glass. 
The panels of the two leaves of the lower body also frame a glass panel.
Both parts lock.

It stands on original bracket feet and comes with original keys. A very fine detailed beautifully crafted example in wonderful original condition.
