The beveled mirror measures 27 x 23.5 cm ( measured including the frame is 38 x 44 cm) and is adjustable in a variety of ways including the height (height goes up to from 160 cm to 200 cm)
The mirror can be taken of for easy transport

Impressively designed dressing table from the sixties made in Finland. designed by Olof Ottelin for the Finnish Stockmann Oy.

The rare and little made dressing table has been fully professionally restored by us, making it as good as new.
The sides of the make-up furniture look a bit like a boomerang in terms of shape. The two slender teak panels meet in a mitred position, which results in great lines. The dressing table is equipped with two white lacquered (original) wooden drawers under the table top that slide in and out smoothly and in which you can store items that you want at hand, but not in sight.

Above the top of the dressing table you will find two sliding panels, one of which is made of white lacquered wood and has a subtle vertical handle. The other sliding panel is made of mirror glass. If you slide the panels to the side, a storage space for make-up is created. In this compartment two shallow shelves are integrated on which a lot can be stored.

The table has been completely renovated by us and can be used immediately.

English Art Deco dressing table in walnut, 1930s.

Beautiful Empire period Psyche which consists of an Original Mercury Glass, mounted on a Tilting Frame, and surrounded by an Aged Brass Rush and luminous geometrical motifs. This Mirror part is surmounted by a Stylish and Elegant Pyramid, and two Black Lacquered Cylindrical Columns topped with Bobèches are placed on either side.
The lower part of this item offers a small drawer of 9 cm deep. Its facade is embellished with a pretty wooden fillet forming a frame, which is found on the top, sides and front posts of this lower element.
The whole rests on four small Feet in Toupies and Blackened.
Ideal to complete and embellish a Chest of Drawers or a Dressing Table, this Psyche, which will be able to receive Make-up or Jewels, gathers the essential necessary to a setting in Beauty while preserving modest dimensions.

Very elegant center dressing table, curved all face in rosewood veneer.
The top opens with a central flap fitted with its mercury mirror on the reverse side and flanked by two flaps. They reveal two removable compartments also in rosewood veneer.

The belt opens with four drawers, one narrower, they are centered by a sliding writing tablet.

It stands on four high pinched and arched feet.
A beautiful openwork and foliage fall in chased and gilded bronze finished by a small sheathing hoof, accentuates the slight curve of the front and rear feet.

Fine ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes such as falls, sabots, entries of locks, as well as fine original brass hinges discreetly adorn this piece representative of the small furniture born under the reign of Louis XV.

This elegant piece has been entirely restored, in the rules of art, by the TWS Workshops (Wimereux).

In the Louis XV period, the new distribution of the apartments brings comfort and intimacy. The furniture corresponds in its forms as well as in its decoration to the evolution of French society. Comfort and pleasure are at the origin of small furniture and the triumph of the curved line.

The “flying” furniture, creations that adapt to this new way of life, are particularly light, elegant, and not very loaded with bronzes. They are intended to be moved from a room to the living room, or to the boudoir. Among these, we find mainly the writing table, the reading table, the Burgundy table, the standing writing table, the night table, the snack table, the coffee table, the book table, the chiffonière, or the game table.
The dressing tables with coffers are one of the most appreciated creations of these delicate small pieces of furniture of the reign of Louis XV.

In our time, these are sought after, according to the number of combinations, their quality, and the reputation of the cabinetmaker.
