Probably made in Italy during the 1970s, this vintage lantern pendant light has a gilded and massive structure.
4 curved slats recreate a pagoda effect in the upper part which supports double glass panels framed by brass, inside which are contained sheets of Vienna cane webbing.
This chandelier is extremely decorative both when turned off and on, as you can see in the photo.
This Mid Century chandelier is a successful mix between the Chinese Chippendale style and the European trend of the 70s to use sparkling and reflective metallic materials.
The body of the chandelier is 38cm high by 30cm wide and deep.
102cm is the height of the chandelier including chain
This pendant light is in good vintage condition.
The glass are intact, the brass and the cane webbing have a splendid color given by the patina of time.
The only flaw, visible from the photo, is in the light bulb holder which has cuts on the metal plate.

The classical Chinese panels are finely framed and are decorated on the inside with delicate floral and foliage compositions. The finely decorated bronze frame is decorated at the bottom with a large rosette of leaves. The chain is attached on three sides to looped eyelets. A strictly structured ceiling crown forms the upper finish. Paris, early 19th century, the porcelain plates are much earlier.

Rich in details with a coronet adorned with à la grecque décor and a black polished leaf crown. Original chains supporting a circular bowl form ten light fixture, each adorned with chiseled foliage and ormolu modeled cups. The bowl adorned with a à la grecque band and a vase the centre. A foliage medallion covers the underside of the light with central drop in the form of a cone.
Original condition.
France approx. 1820.

The twelve arm chandelier is centered by a lovely foliate gilt metal final below the patinated bronze body surrounded by decorative rosettes, palmettes, and large acanthus leaves. Above and atop the patinated bronze body is a central electrified frosted glass eternal flame. Each of the twelve arms are in the shape of a cornucopia decorated by acanthus leaves all below the candle cup with spiral beaded designs. The arms flank decorative rosettes as well as large acanthus leaves which hold the six pierced chains which lead to the top crown. The top patinated metal crown is decorated by a central foliate mount, circular outer rosettes, and a top spray of gilt metal palmettes.
