Description

The embossed brass is somewhat ornate featuring scenes of daily life. The lid lifts for storage, originally for wood or coal. It is very clean inside. Structurally sound and very sturdy. One of the hinges is trying to come apart but its still in working order. It needs a little bit of realignment. I’ll leave that to the experts. In a couple of places the brass is pulling back a little. I’ve shown photos of this. It is barely noticeable.
