Delicate rectangular mother of pearl box engraved with garlands of leaves. The box is mounted in gilt bronze and intricately sculpted with interlacing, garlands and baskets of flowers. It rests on four winged lion paws. The lid is decorated with a large, central medallion featuring handmade flowers which have been preserved under cambered glass. The subtlety of the shades of white, beige, and tinted gray as well as the detailed sculpting all contribute to the stunning elegance of this box,
