A pair of 19th century English Victorian Chesterfield style tufted library reading “his and hers” chairs. Solid mahogany frame with spoon back, wide seat and front cabriole legs with carved details, scrolled arms. Original ceramic castors. These chairs sit low to the ground and are very comfortable, the man’s chair with arms and the lady’s chair armless. The upholstery is in very good condition, with only a slight tear on the back of the smaller chair.
