At No 27 is the long-established Deans Chartered Accountants, formerly the premises of Waverley Housing. In the 1950s it was the London, Liverpool and Globe Insurance Company, and then the practice of Dr. R. M. McGregor, Langlee, who had served with the Medical Corps during the Second World War. In the 1960s he was joined at the surgery by Drs. Hugh MacMaster and Rory Hamilton (grandson of Dr. John Hamilton) whom had both previously practised in the annexe of the Elm House.
