A wonderful Charles II early country oak stretcher table Circa 1680, pegged and molded rectangular three plank top, the rails with sunken fillet moldings’, all on turned supports with a ring and united by plain pegged stretchers. The oak coloring is beautiful. Oak typically turns darker with age, however sometimes it will varies and may be black, orange brown or even have reddish hue. This table top has it all, age and character, and is as solid as the day it was made which was nearly 350 years ago. Truly a special find.
