Opulent Italian silver gilt pagoda mirror made in the George III Chinese Chippendale taste. The large wood framed mirror features an applied silver gilt finish with an intentionally aged patina. The frame is crafted from C scrolls decorating the sides flanked by HoHo birds on each side. The top of the mirror has a large pagoda form finial. The bottom of the mirror is decorated with scrolling acanthus centered by a shell rocaille. The silver gilt has an intentionally aged patina to mimic an 18th century period piece. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
