Dutch “DC” chairs by Dick Spierenburg for Castelijn, 1978 The frame is made of wood and metal The chairs are newly upholstered in the fabric bouclé blue color The measurements are: 82,5 cm high and 49 cm wide The depth is 47 cm and seat height is 49 cm The weight each chair is approx. 11 kilo In very good condition Dick Spierenburg (1953) is a designer, interior designer and design manager. Spierenburg studied architecture at the technical university in Delft. Dick Spierenburg has been working as a designer since the late 1970s. He was the co-founder of the Nederlands Interieur Collectief. Designer Dick Spierenburg designed design furniture for Dutch brands such as Gelderland, Arco, Montis and Castelijn. He was also one of the initiators of the former Pakhuis Amsterdam and Design Post Köln.
