Early 20th Century Yellow Cottage in the Wood Oil Painting on Board, Framed

Charming, well executed original oil on board.

This is the hunting or fishing cabin of someone’s dreams – could easily be Southern or New England…fits both aesthetics well.

Yellow and orange lead the color wheel here, with very shade of natural green you can imagine – olive, fern, asparagus.

Likely mid-20th C., in a very nice original frame – a gallery style gilt presentation.

Frame is showing some gentle aging, which actually adds a welcome patina to the piece – in perfect sync with the work itself.
