A rare and impressive 18th century English wainscot armchair hand-carved from solid oak. A highly decorative and original piece hand-crafted circa 1750 with inlaid floral and foliate motifs on a molded and trimmed back panel. Featuring smooth broad arms on turned supports and a boarded seat raised on turned legs with block feet joined by stretchers and pegged construction throughout.
