The salmon color panel used to one of the pair panels that adorned a woman’s skirt either front or back. It was beautifully embroidered with butterfly in flowers motif with folded borders. Silk threads of subtle colors in white, blue and green were used to contrast the background. Very delicate long and short satin stiches were used to create the image with crouched stitches used for the antennas of the butterfly.
