French Restoration bronze mantel clock set, France, 1820-1830s. 1 clock and two candelabras. Original golden patina 2 centuries old. Represents a Roman general seated at the height of his glory. The iconography highlights a collapsed column, a warrior helmet, a horse’s head, as well as a bas-relief showing the triumphal trumpets bordered by two laurel wreaths on each side. The clock : Height: 20.9″(53cm), Width: 15.2″(38.5cm), Depth : 5.9″(15cm). Each candelabra : Height : 25.2″(64cm), Diameter : 9.4″(24cm).
