A fine late George III mahogany cockpen armchair, in the Chinese Chippendale style. C.1800.
With open latticework backrest and under arm supports, raised on square straight cut legs with chamfered inside edge, finished with pierced corner brackets.
Traditionally and expertly upholstered in a John Boyd ‘Holstein Green and Black’ horsehair fabric, with brass stud detail.
In excellent original condition.
