Harrods Kennedy Burr Yew Wood Green Leather Secrataire Desk Chest of Drawers

A very good looking well made and decorative piece. It sits as a campaign chest on stand however it has the additional feature of a good sized, green leather drop front desk which is super useful for compact living as when not in use, it can be folded back and takes up no additional room

This was made by REH Kennedy of Ipswich, they have been hand making campaign furniture to the highest standard for over 100 years. They were Harrods London oldest concession retailing there for 87 years

In terms of the condition the burr yew frame and leather top have been deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished. The desk has a good honest period patination with honest age and use general marks here and there
