Vintage Design
Large Italian sideboard attributed to 1950s designer Paolo buffa. The sideboard is made of various types of wood. The sideboard with four doors and three drawers in the center. The two side doors are in light wood and the central ones in darker wood. Each door can be opened by means of carved brass handles, and a key to close them. The three drawers also have identical handles made of brass. The cabinet has various details that denote care and great skill in woodworking. First particular to the sides we find a wooden insert shaped wave that covers its sides. The doors of the two sides are painted with ornaments of flowers. We find these elegant iconographic signs also in the three drawers. Noteworthy are its feet made of horn copies with a shell-shaped ornamental insert. The feet have a brass ferrule. The sideboard is delivered totally restored. Of great workmanship and beauty, the sideboard is ideal for sophisticated environments and living rooms full of history.
