Late Qing dynasty carved hardwood side tables or stands or tea tables, Southern Chinese, A good example of tea tables with finely carved frieze panelled middle and attractive “cracked ice” lattice lower shelf, so characteristic of Classical Chinese furniture. Patina with traces of an earlier red stained finish. Probably Chinese elm, circa 1900. The tables measure 29″ inches high x 15 1/2″ inches wide x 15 1/2″ inches deep.
