United with a mid-17th century rustic oak stool table. The plank top with a moulded edge. Two sets of metal nails and another set of screws show where it has been secured at different times in its history. The plain frieze with two replaced pine rails. Supported by baluster turned legs joined by square stretchers with moulded decoration. The outer edge of the upper and lower blocks outer edge on one leg have been lost probably due to worm and repaired so that they are now chamfered. Original toes. The oak is an unusual mellow colour with a good patina.
