Vintage Design
Vintage Italian travertine coffee table (or side table, depending on one’s needs and space), circa 1970s-80s. The table has a very sober, elegant and fantastic design. It is made up of two parts: the pedestal and the top, both shaped octagonally. The top has carved edging on all of It’s sides.
The table is in excellent overall mint original condition; there’s a tiny mark at the end of the base of the pedestal (photo next to a 1 centime coin for perspective), but in my opinion it looks to be simply part of the stone itself, and nothing else. There are not cracks or chips, simply a beautiful original patina of time, commensurate with It’s age.
The table was just gently cleaned, to preserve and with respect to It’s integrity and beautiful patina of time. Diagonal measurement: 85 cm.
