Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of 16th to 17th century, miniature oil paintings which are after the originals by James Northcote (1480-1517) the originals are titled “Princess Bridget Plantagenet” which was dedicated to the Nunnery at Dartford worth, and the “Marriage of Shrewsbury”<\/p>\n

They are an exquisite pair, possibly earlier and made by the artist himself but for me to say is impossible, they come with very sweet giltwood frames which are nice and decorative<\/p>\n

Each piece has a hand written inscription in the back which is tricky to read<\/p>\n
