This sits above a decorative carved and shaped apron.<\/p>\n<p>The main doors have steel escutcheons with its original working lock and key.<\/p>\n<p>The armoire stands on elegant cabriole legs and has pegged construction on all joints.<\/p>\n<p>Inside there are three full-width solid pine shelves. Upon the middle shelf is a steel hook to keep the doors closed.<\/p>\n<p>The polished surfaces have a beautiful undulating ripple created by the cabinet-maker&#8217;s use of an adds in the production of each plank of oak. This traditional method of carpentry shows evidence of its early age.<\/p>\n<p>The doors, drawer and pediment cornice will be packed separately for transporting.
